Bay Media recently completed these beautiful custom printed roller blinds for Cranbourne Childcare.
In our first meeting with the client, we discovered that they wanted some roller window blinds for one of their daycare rooms. The room in question had large windows that allowed a lot of sunlight in, but they wanted the ability to reduce the glare and minimise heat in Summer. Also, they wanted the flexibility to darken the room for ‘rest time’.
On inspecting the room, it had a very ‘natural’ feel. Being a children’s space, we suggested that the roller blinds could be printed with an age-appropriate design that at the same time would fit in with the natural tones in the room. After talking with the client further, we agreed that we would come up with some mock-ups to show them some design concepts that would be appealing for young children.
The next step we took was to send the client some digitally produced mock-ups of the custom roller blinds. They chose two designs depicting animals in nature and were absolutely thrilled with the final result.
