Bay Media were thrilled to be approached by Lexus to design, print and install two vehicle wraps for a special new technology trial they are undertaking in Queensland.
Lexus Australia has partnered with the Queensland Government in a trial of advanced technologies designed to improve road safety and reduce congestion, fuel consumption and emissions.
As part of this trial, the Bay Media creative team worked closely with the parties involved to design vehicle wraps for two specially equipped Lexus RX 450h F Sport SUVs. These two SUVs are fitted with sensitive equipment that enables them to communicate with each other and with roadside infrastructure such as traffic lights, as part of a two-year trial.
Our client wanted a design that would show off the best features of the vehicle while effectively representing the new technology being trialled. The graphics also needed to fit with Queensland Government corporate colours, yet be fresh, modern and striking.
Bay Media were briefed that photographs of the vehicle would be released to the media when they launched, so we understood that the design needed to capture attention and be instantly recognizable, featuring the Lexus brand as well as the Queensland Government logo.
The vehicles were wrapped onsite at Lexus Australia over 2 days and the finished results speak for themselves.
